Real Estate Company Seeks Approval To Build Office In Del Ray
Bonaventure Realty is relocating to Del Ray at a former car service garage.
ALEXANDRIA, VA—The site plan for the new Bonaventure Realty Group office space in Del Ray has been submitted to the city.
The office will be located at 2903 Mount Vernon Avenue, the former site of Anthony's Auto Center, and an adjacent lot on Hume Avenue. The company is seeking permission to renovate the car service garage and build an addition. The one-story office would have approximately 4,500 square feet of space, according to a development site plan application.
The company confirmed to Washington Business Journal last year it would relocate its office from 2700 South Quincy Street Site 500 in Arlington. CEO Dwight Dunton is from Alexandria and initially founded the company there.

The Alexandria Planning Commission is set to consider the proposal on Tuesday, June 4.
