Question: Is my EX allowed to stalk me?
Answer: A protective orders can be issued when a person commits any act involving violence, force, or threat that results in physical injury or places you in reasonable fear of death, sexual assault, or bodily injury. Va Code § 19.2-152.7:1. Examples of conduct include, forceful detention, stalking, criminal sexual assault, or any criminal offense that results in physical injury to the body or reasonably makes you fear death, sexual assault, or physical injury.
