TONIGHT: Ribbon-Cutting for Del Ray's Stomping Ground
Eatery specializing in biscuit sandwiches has opened to enthusiastic crowds.
The Del Ray Business Association will celebrate the opening of a new Del Ray business, Stomping Ground, located at 2309 Mt. Vernon Ave., with a ribbon-cutting tonight at 7 p.m.
The restaurant has just recently opened, and describes itself as “your casual neighborhood place. Seasonal first. Local and organic whenever possible. Buttermilk biscuits always.” See the menu here.
The ribbon cutting coincides with First Thursday, both rescheduled from last week due to the weather. This month’s featured non-profit is the Mount Vernon Community School Playground Project.
