Robbery Victim Hospitalized In Alexandria: Police

Alexandria Police are investigating two Sunday night robberies in the West End.

One of the injuries hospitalized the victim. Two suspects stole cell phones from the victim in the unit block of Bragg Street. The victim had non-life-threatening injuries, according to a police notification sent shortly before 11 p.m.

In the other robbery, a group of suspects stole money at knifepoint at the intersection of North Beauregard and North Armistead Streets. There were no injuries, police said around 10:25 p.m.

There is no indication that the incidents are related. No arrests or suspect descriptions were announced.
