Second Gas Station Robbed Sunday: Police

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a second robbery of a gas station Sunday — this time in the 2800 block of Duke Street (see map below).

Police sent out an alert at 7:13 p.m. about the second robbery.

The first armed robbery took place on S. Van Dorn Street. Both were armed robberies, where one suspect displayed a gun, police said.

No word from police on a description of the suspect or whether the two robberies might be related.
