Alexandria City Public Schools Announces Wednesday Schedule

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- After a mega winter storm smacked the region over the weekend, local jurisdictions and residents are still digging out from about 2 feet of snow Tuesday.

Alexandria City Public Schools has shut down school for Monday and Tuesday and just released information about the schedule for Wednesday:

Wednesday, 1/27, ACPS SCHOOLS AND OFFICES ARE CLOSED. LAS ESCUELAS Y OFICINAS DE ACPS ESTARÁN CERRADAS.

All activities in schools or on school grounds are canceled. Emergency personnel, including building engineers, custodians, maintenance shop employees and security staff must still report. Todas las actividades en el recinto escolar estarán canceladas por hoy (1/27). El personal de emergencia, incluidos los ingenieros de construcción, los custodios, los empleados del taller de mantenimiento, y el personal de seguridad igualmente deberán concurrir a trabajar.
