ALEXANDRIA, VA — If you want to get in shape after Thanksgiving, you might as well do it with a local sports legend. The third annual "Santana Claus Sleigh Ride" for charity returns to Del Ray's Ascend Cycle + Underground on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Former Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss will be on hand for the charity indoor cycle ride to benefit his foundation, 89 Ways to Give. The 45-minute cycling classes feature an interval ride of sprints and climbs with music. The class fee includes cycling shoes, a class towel and cool towel at the end of class. To sign up, make a $25 donation on Eventbrite. Participants can send questions to info@ascendcycle.com.

89 Ways to Give aims to "inspire hope, create everlasting bonds, enhance quality of life and empower everyone" in his home of Northern Virginia. Moss, who played 10 years for the Redskins among 14 years in the NFL, named his foundation after the number 89 he wore as a Redskins player.
