Solidcore opens Monday, March 2, the sixth Solidcore studio in the DC area and second in Virginia (joining Ballston which opened in December) but first in Alexandria.

The studio will feature 11 machines, a boutique with their signature Solidcore workout clothes and Goûter tonics. With many existing clients traveling to the District to get their Solidcore fix, the new studio will expand the reach of their strong and growing community, the company points out in a news release announcing the opening of the new studio.

The new studio will be located at 1111 Belle Pre Way. Class schedules go live on Friday, Feb. 20 to start reserving machines. Class packages are available with drop-in rates beginning at $35 per class, first-time client offer of $19, and any new clients can get their first month with unlimited classes for $259.

Solidcore is offering a sweet February referral special: Refer 10 friends to Solidcore and receive 15 complimentary classes. With four studios in DC and their newest in Ballston, the referral special is ideal for existing clients to get their friends to experience what Solidcore is all about but also for newer clients looking to make Solidcore a part of their lives in a more affordable way, the company points out.

Solidcore is a 50-minute, full body workout in a class-based fitness studio with no more than 13 clients in a class at a time for a guaranteed personalized, personal training-like experience every time. Using slow and controlled full-body movements with constant tension to “work muscle fibers to failure,” the low-impact process forces muscles to rebuild in a more sculpted, stronger way. The workout is different every time making it impossible to plateau or stop responding, the company says. Each class has a certified Solidcore coach who motivates clients the entire time to push them further than they would on their own, the company notes. The studios are described as “raw, inspiring, and welcoming.”
