Surveillance Photo Of Del Ray Bank Robber Released
Police continue to seek a suspect in Monday's bank robbery on Mount Vernon Avenue.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Alexandria Police are looking to identify the suspect from the Monday, March 4 bank robbery in Del Ray.
The robbery happened around 12:52 p.m. at the SunTrust Bank, 2809 Mount Vernon Avenue. Police say a man entered the bank and demanded money from a bank teller. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.
An initial search of the area with the Fairfax County Police helicopter was unsuccessful.

The suspect is described as a black man with a medium build wearing a black hooded-jacket, dark pants and a dark knit cap. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Matthew Kramarik at 703-746-6650.
