Thousands Of Child Porn Images Made By Alexandria Man: Prosecutor
The man worked for the State Department at the time he reportedly produced and shared child porn.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—An Alexandria man who previously worked for the State Department pleaded guilty Monday for producing thousands of child pornography images and videos.
Skydance MacMahon, 44, worked with a person in Canada to get over a thousand explicit images and videos of children for two years, according to prosecutors. The images and videos were produced at the direction of MacMahon using Skype and hidden cameras, and MacMahon distributed them to users through his cloud storage and directly sending the files.
In addition to the creating the child pornography files, MacMahon received and possessed thousands of images and videos of child pornography.

At the time of the offenses, MacMahon worked at the Foreign Services Institute of the U.S. Department of State in Arlington as a digital media administrator.
He pleaded guilty to conspiring to produce child pornography and producing child pornography and faces 15 years to 60 years in prison. Sentencing is scheduled for October 12. Actual sentences for federal crimes are typically less than the maximum penalties.
