Tickets on Sale for the 2013 Taste of Del Ray

Tickets are currently on sale for the 2013 Taste of Del Ray, to be held Sunday, June 9 in the parking lot behind Virginia Commerce Bank near the corner of Mount Vernon and E. Oxford avenues.

The event runs from 1 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. and more of the parking lot will be made available this year to allow additional space for those lines to taste samplings from some of the neighborhood's top restaurants.

The event is presented by the Del Ray Business Association.

• Del Ray Cafe
• Del Ray Cakery
• Del Ray Pizzeria
• Dos Amigos
• Evening Star Cafe
• Pork Barrel BBQ
• Rosemarino d'Italia
• Swing's Coffee
• Taqueria Poblano
• The Happy Tart

Advanced tickets to the Taste of Del Ray are $10 and can be purchased at the Greener Cleaner of Del Ray and the Del Ray Farmers Market on the Saturdays ahead of the event. Tickets will be available for $15 the day of the event. 

Food writer Jordan Wright, a resident of Old Town, will serve as celebrity judge.
