The Addams Family at South County High School
The Addams Family is just around the corner at South County High School. Show dates are May 5, 6, 12, and 13 at 7:00!
Secrets are in jeopardy, an ill at ease man is caught between two women he adores, and a simple dinner party turns into a night from hell when the menacing yet sensitive Wednesday Addams falls for the normal, affectionate boy Lucas Beineke that triggers a side splitting stream of creepy and kooky antics in South County’s upcoming production of The Addams Family on May 5, 6, 12, and 13 at 7:00 within the Dale S. Rumberger Auditorium.
The unorthodox yet charismatic family was immediately adored by the public ever since cartoonist Charles Addams put them to paper in 1938. The musical follows the fierce albeit empathetic Addams family patriarch Gomez trapped between his intimidating yet affectionate wife Morticia and love struck teenage daughter Wednesday when a secret is divulged. To make matters worse, the Beineke family is converging upon the Addams manor for a dinner party, causing things to get out of hand rapidly as the secret is consistently kept on the verge of being unearthed.
