Are you looking for a special way for your family, friends, group or office to celebrate the holidays? Consider sponsoring a needy individual or family in the Fairfax County area for holiday meals and/or gifts for children.
Our Daily Bread's Holiday Program has more than 3,000 qualified needy community members on our holiday assistance list. Our goal is to help them all, but we cannot do it without the community's help.
There are many ways to make a difference:

- Sponsor an individual or family: Register on our web site and we will send you information on a family in need. You will contact them and arrange to deliver a holiday meal and/or gifts for their children.
- Be a Virtual Sponsor: Register through our Holiday Donor form, provide a donation and we will get grocery and gift cards in that amount to a family in need.
- Donate: A donation of any amount will be used to provide grocery and gift cards to families who are not sponsored.
You can also help community members this holiday season by supporting Our Daily Bread/Combined Properties Fall Food Drives. Every Saturday through December 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Courthouse Plaza in Fairfax City. Different local organizations are collecting each Saturday to stock their pantries for the holidays. Your support will make a real difference for hungry people throughout the county.
