2 Day Father’s Day Weekend Model Train Show at the Fairfax Station Railroad Museum

Celebrate Father’s Day weekend with a special event at the Fairfax Station Railroad Museum! Join us on Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, from 1-4 p.m. for our Father’s Day Model Trains Celebration, a perfect way to honor dads and make lasting memories with family and friends.

Experience:

• Diverse Exhibits: Marvel at meticulously crafted models, showcasing intricate details and impressive layouts in both N and T scales. Enthusiasts from near and far will display their latest creations, and the museum will highlight unique pieces from its collection.
• Interactive: Experience live demonstrations on various aspects of model train operation, from basic setup to advanced techniques. Our experts will share tips on landscaping, scenery building, and train operations, making it a perfect opportunity for both beginners and seasoned modelers to learn.
• Networking Opportunities: Connect with fellow hobbyists and the local train community. Share ideas, exchange techniques, and foster friendships with others who share your passion for model trains.
• Family-Friendly: Families are welcome! Many of our volunteer conductors provide interactive stations where children can engage (‘drive’) with model trains, ensuring the event is fun for all ages.
