Clifton-Fairfax Station Homes Tour Adds Book Signing Event
Annual homes tour and silent auction fundraiser will also feature local history authors this year.

The Clifton-Fairfax Station Homes Tour and Silent Auction is a May tradition with over 400 visitors every year. This year’s event on Thursday, May 21, offers a new feature: a book signing event with local history authors. The Clifton Community Woman’s Club hosts the Tour and Silent Auction as a charity fundraiser to support local scholarships and charities through their 501(c)(3) Charitable Trust. Guests must purchase a ticket to tour the three homes and the 2-acre garden, but the Silent Auction and Book Signing event is free and held at the Clifton Presbyterian Church. The book signing event includes the following local authors and their books:
Clifton (Images of America: Virginia) by Lynne Garvey-Hodge
Ambitious Failure: Chain Bridge, the First Bridge Across the Potomac River By Carole L. Herrick
