Clifton Gas Station Robbed by Masked Gunman, Police Say

Robbery took place Monday night in the 5500 block of Union Mill Road, according to police.

A Clifton gas station was robbed at gunpoint Monday night, according to Fairfax County Police.

The robbery took place in the 5500 block of Union Mill Road at about 8:57 p.m. Monday, according to police.

A man entered the gas station and pointed a gun at an employee, police said; he then took cash and property and fled.

The suspect assaulted the gas station employee during the robbery, police said, but the employee did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

Police describe the suspect as a male of unknown race, about 6 feet tall, wearing a mask, black shirt and black pants.
