Clifton Sees Two Write-In Candidates Elected to Town Council
Town sees 31 percent of its 211 voters come out on Tuesday.
Clifton re-elected Mayor Bill Holloway and elected five town council members Tuesday.
No one on the ballot had official challengers in Tuesday's town council election in Clifton, but two write-in candidates — Jennifer Heilmann and Deborah Dillard — bested council member Chuck Rusnak, Jr., who was running for re-election.
Dillard was previously on the town council, but was not on the ballot. Heilmann is new to the council.
