Crime Solvers 5K Saturday Supports Non-Profit

Hopefully the weather holds out this weekend for a good cause.

The 2nd Annual Crime Solvers 5K will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2. You can register online at crimesolvers5k.com until 9 a.m. Friday.

Packet pick-up and race-day registration from 3-7 p.m. Friday at Road Runner Sports, 1120 W Broad St, Falls Church and from 7 to 7:45 a.m. on race morning in front of the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Pkwy.

This certified course begins and ends at the government center.

Crime Solvers has also recruited members of area police, fire and sheriff departments to compete against each other in the 5K.

There will also be a one mile kids’ fun run at the conclusion of the 5k that is free for kids.

A variety of safety vehicles from police, fire and the Sheriff’s Office will be there, as well as a Child ID booth.
