Silver Diner Seeks Kid Food Critic

is holding a contest for the next kid “Food Critic for a Day.”

Children ages four to 12 are eligible. Instructions for participating in the contest can be found on the diner’s Facebook page and website.

To apply, kids create a 90-second video by March 11 about why they would be a good candidate for the job. Twenty-nine winners will go to the Rockville Silver Diner branch to participate in a menu tasting event.

Children will help chefs in expanding a kid-friendly, healthy menu.
