Camp Wannadog helps kids and families make dog adoption a howling success!
At Camp Wannadog's day camp, kids (9-15 years old*) work with a variety of local pet professionals and our carefully screened and temperament-tested Camp Wannadog mascot 'ambassadog' to learn the basics of:

•canine temperament, training and grooming

•dog first aid

•humane education principles
At the end of the session, each student receives a Certificate of Dog Readiness and a Camp Wannadog
T-shirt. Interested students will also have the opportunity to complete a family dog adoption plan.
* Kids younger than 9 accepted upon approval from the director.
