Civil War Forum "Thank God He Survived Pickett's Charge" The Story of Private James Farthing (CSA)
Carl L. Sell, Jr. the Great Grandson of Private James Farthing, Confederate soldier, will give the Civil War Forum, "Thank God He Survived Pickett's Charge". This is the story of his Great Grandfather who was shot at Gettysburg and was a POW at Point Lookout in Maryland. The Forum will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. at the Fairfax Station Railroad Museum at 11200 Fairfax Station Road in Fairfax Station, VA. The Forum is free and open to the public.
