George Mason University Libraries "Open Access = Open Data" Panel

George Mason University Libraries invites the public to learn more about the benefits of free access to unrestricted research data on October 10, from 3 to 4:30 p.m., on the Fairfax campus, Research Hall, Room 163.  The event "Open Access = Open Data" will be a three-part presentation by a panel of experts: Dr. Amy Friedlander, a Senior Advisor with the National Science Foundation; Dr. Kirk Borne, professor in the School of Physics, Astronomy and Computational Sciences at Mason; and Dr. Liping Di, professor in the Department of Geography and GeoInformation Science at Mason.  Light refreshments will be served.  For more information, please contact Claudia Holland at chollan3@gmu.edu or 703.993.2544.
