Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Burke-Fairfax Chapter presents The 28th Annual Black History Forum on Sunday, February 24, 2013 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at The Flint Hill School, 3320 Jermantown Road Oakton, VA 22124


Format: Trivia Game which features black history related topics, including history, language, literature, the arts, the sciences, popular culture, geography, and wordplay; The format is that of the popular jeopardy gameshow which has an answer-and-question format in which contestants are presented with clues in the form of answers, and must phrase their responses in question form.


Participating Schools: Lake Braddock Secondary School, Mt. Vernon High School, Fairfax High School

Quest Speaker: Melanie N. Roussell is the National Press Secretary for the Democratic Na- tional Committee. In addition to serving as chief spokesperson, she directs the rapid response unit for the committee. Specializing in crisis communica- tion and management, Roussell has spent nearly ten years inside the Beltway crafting messages and developing communication strategies for political principles.
