Matt Waller has been an active participant in the Northern Virginia music scene since 2001 when he began playing music at the well known TT Reynold's in Old Town Fairfax, VA. Over the past 15 years he has toured with original bands like SEV, WELBILT, MONAKO and his current act Soundtrack For Silent Films. He also has experienced great success and notoriety with his cover band ROAD SODA. the WashingtonNational's band for 2009-2010. He has shared the stage with bands like 311,Toto, Sister Hazel, and Emmet Swimming among others. His musical influences range from The Beatles, Bob Marley, Sublime, 311, to Johnny Cash, Elton John, Michael Jackson and Tom Petty. His acoustic performances are upbeat and dynamic, incorporating a wide variety of genres like pop, classic rock, top 40, dance and reggae. It is this musical depth that has established him as one of the most talented and in-demand performers in the area.
