FRAME YOUR HOME AS IF IT IS A LOVELY PAINTING
Your home is a piece of artwork that is compiled of lovely colors and space and is you.
Your home is an extension of you and the people who reside there. It is as if you took a can of paint and painted the walls to show off you and your possessions. You live there, you eat there, your dress there and you love there.
You purchase items that you love, like or admire or all three of those things. You change furniture or draperies often to alter the atmosphere and you add and delete to suit yourself.
You can change yourself the same way.

As you watch on television tonight DWTS, you may think you could never rise to the level of the contestants. These people are stars who excel or not excel in other professions. They dance and learn from professional teachers and are judged by pro judges. They learn and practice lots of moves and positions, that you as a new student or a student who has studied it for years will never do. This is show business or reality television that does not encourage novices to try to even tell them they could do this.
However, novices as we all are when we start out learn at a slower pace, not such supposedly costumes to enhance their sexiness so the judges notice them. True, the judges do watch the routines for errors and sometimes are on the verge of nastiness like when one judge told Chaz Bono that he looked like a penguin. An ugly comment from a not so nice judge. Maybe, he looks like a penguin sitting up there who probably has not danced for 20 years.

If you want to dance and to learn to dance, there are many fine dance coaches in every city you live in who will inspire, encourage and admire what you learn from him or her.
Do not let any teacher put you down or tell you that you are too old. You are never to old to dance, ever. There was a 100 year old lady who recently put on some wild performance and showed the world, that we seniors can do this art of dance.
Frame yourself, your heart, your courage and your anticipation that you can do it and perform it well, whether for social dancing or for competitive dancing.
As soon as my 81 and 3/4 old knees get better from three shots in each knee, I shall be an 80 something competitor once again and I will add a 59th and 60th trophy to my other 58.
As my professor way back in 1968 told me, when I was an "old lady student of 34" going back to get a college degree in a class of 18 year old teens, "Mrs. Clayman, you will and can and do better and excel in whatever you do."
He is not here now, but I will excel even in my 80's for whatever you accomplish and yearn for if you really want it. We all can and our hearts will be full and we will be like a beautiful picture in a lovely frame of life.
