Join special guest Shoshannah Nambi as she shares stories and pictures of her people, the Abayudaya Jews of Uganda. A young activist on health care and women's issues, Shoshannah will present her perspective on the role of women in the community and the challenges they face.
Adat Reyim is the only synagogue in the Washington, DC area hosting Shoshannah on her national speaking tour so please invite your friends and neighbors to this important event.
And welcome Shoshannah at Shabbat morning services where she will share some tunes in Hebrew and Luganda, the local language.
