A Fairfax Station firefighter died Saturday at the <a href="https://patch.com/L-mrqk" rel="nofollow">Crosspointe Fire Station</a>, number 41. Horace Pendergrass, 49, was found at about 8:30 a.m., said Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department spokesman Willie Bailey. Pendergrass worked at Crosspointe station at 9610 Hampton Road for about 21 years, Bailey said. The department was not able to say anything more about how Pendergrass died at this time.
