Love Is A Many Slendored Thing

My favorite book, my favorite song and my favorite movie. The saying is said by William Holden and Jennifer Jones. This was about 1955 and I went to the movie with a nerd and I was thinking, I will someday see this again with my real love.

That I did in 1957 with my then boyfriend and it was sweet and sad and he was the one who I knew I would see it with that day in 1955.

The hero Holden said to Jones "if I do not return, he was a journalist in the war and she was a doctor, we will have had already a many splendored thing." I had the song sung at in between our saying our wows by a singer.It was so beautiful.

Funny thing, our gardener has a name Splendor Landscaper Company.

The day is approaching October 12th which is Columbus Day. So that is a splendored thing too, we discovered each other.

Maybe it is nice to have nice remembrances, this makes life sweet.
