Man Stumbles into Clifton Traffic; No Injuries Reported
A man was spotted stumbling across Clifton Road Monday evening

Neighbors were startled when an apparently disturbed man wandered down an otherwise quiet Clifton road Monday evening, walking straight into traffic.
“He practically collided with my husband's car,” said Patch columnist and Clifton resident Elizabeth Vittori, who spotted the man at about 6 on Newman Road near her home. "[He was] staggering across the road, walking side to side, and down the middle line [of the road] during rush hour."
The man stumbled along Colchester Road and eventually made his way to Hanslot Farm along Newman Road, Vittori said. She contacted authorities at least six squad cars responded.

"We looked for the individual extensively," said Officer Bud Walker, a spokesman for the Fairfax County Police Department. "We were approached by a family member and we know who the man is if we need to get in touch with him."
