This is my 100th article on Fairfax Station Patch written with love to my readers and the staff

An article reminding me of stories of now and then

This is my 100th article on Fairfax Station Patch and this is a total of 748 plus 100 equals 848.This is nice for an old senior who still is quite alert, happy, slim, smart, has her mind in full and the heart doctor said I was "perfect" and I just had a ultrasound to check my abdomen and everything in 'there' and was ok,knees are good from some new Orthvisc shots and all is well so far.

I have written articles on meeting a nun on an elevator, on pictures of love on your home walls, of dieting, of sayings by my grandchildren, of a football player friend of my husband when they were in  the Korean War, drafted in those days, of ballroom dancing, of my competition in dancing trophies, of my parents, of living angels, of angels in Heaven, of a  critic who does nothing himself, of  my friends going to Hawaii for 30 some years to teach dance there, of gardens, of ladders of achievement, of my favorite move Love Is A Many Splendored Thing, of my blind aunt and uncle and their lives, of my life as a teen in the fifties, a kid in the forties during the World War Two, of a delicious cookie my aunt made for us when we visited and that one won a nationwide top article Patch award in 2013 and being not so rich as some others, of going to Monticello to Jefferson's home and family members of my mom and dad etc. and us going to Hawaii.

It is fun to think back and enjoy these moments and my made up slogan/saying "If you can light up someone else's eyes and face,  it is as if you are lighting a flame to your own self. elita sohmer clayman HAPPY 100TH ARTICLE TO FAIRFAX STATION PATCH AND I AM PROUD TO BE WITH YOU ONLINE.
