Police: Drywall Cut in ATM Theft
The robbery took place on early Monday, according to the Fairfax County Police Department

Someone cut through drywall to take money from an ATM in Fairfax Station, police said.
According to authorities, police and fire personnel were called to the Fairfax Station Square shopping center at 5622 Ox Road at about 4:28 a.m. on Monday, October, 17 after a 61-year-old man went to use the ATM and smelled something burning.
After an investigation, police determined that the robber or robbers cut a hole in the drywall behind the ATM and forced entry into the machine. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken, police said.
