Remembrance Cabaret for Reema

Every year, young people gather to perform dance, music 
and skits, in honor of Reema Samaha, one of the 32 killed at Virginia Tech on 
April 16, 2007. Artists, athletes, local businesses and community members 
donate works of art, gift certificates, jewelry, crafts, and sports memorabilia. 
The event is free but donations are welcome.  All donations support the 
Reema J. Samaha Memorial Scholarship Fund and Angel Fund (www.angelfundva.org).



Performers include the Gin Dance Company, Ritmo DMV 
Latin Group, Boyle School of Irish Dance, Laura Lamp and Jordan Gehley, Joshua 
Braunstein, Martina Green, Jon Lawlor, Lauren De Vera, Ahmad Maaty, 
Contemporary Dance Ensemble, Jade Jones and her cast mate from the Keegan 
Theater's production of Hair, Cappie-nominated Drew Lytle from Herndon HS and 
Henry Metcalf, the Westfield High School Improv Team, Dallas Sweezy, Randa and 
Omar Samaha and Shane McCarty speaking on behalf of Actively Caring 4 People. 
Sean Youngberg and Barry Armbruster will host. 



Silent Auction items include a week in the Outer Banks, 
Nationals tickets to the Phillies and Orioles games, a $400 gift certificate 
from Broadway.com, a round of golf for 4 at Chantilly National Country Club, 
Ourisman Toyota car detailing, a teeth bleaching by Bruce Hutchison, DDS, 
artworks, baskets, jewelry, etc
