Residents to 'Celebrate Clifton'

The third annual Celebrate Clifton Gala to support the town takes place this Sunday.

The annual gala has made over $55,000 in the last two years to fund additional parking in town and develop the Mainstreet Streetscape Master Plan. Organizers hope to top last year's $31,000 and bring in $38,000.

“Our ultimate objective is to improve the look of Clifton’s Main Street, installing sidewalks, pedestrian connections, landscaping, and installing period street lights,” reads a flier organizers released about the event.

The goal this year is to raise $38,000 for new projects. The event will include music, dancing, live and silent auctions and raffle goods. Organizers are hoping local residents will donate more items for the auction.

The fundraiser takes place at from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $60 and $80 for VIP admission. Tickets include beer, wine and food.
