Skaters from all over Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C. and other east coast states will travel to Wakefield Skate Park June 27 and 28 to participate in the 8th Annual SkateFest. The festival celebrates National Go Skateboarding Day and raises funds for Children's National Medical Center in Wash., D.C. SkateFest has activities for everyone: from skating for a cause to participating in the skate competition or simply enjoying the festival supporting Children's National.
