Trummer's on Main Named in Washingtonian Reader Favorites
Clifton restaurant chosen in four categories by readers of monthly magazine.

Clifton restaurant Trummer's on Main has been named tops in four categories by readers of Washingtonian in the January issue of the magazine.
The restaurant came in first in the "American restaurant" category and also first in "Decor." The restaurant's popcorn ice cream was singled out and its decor was noted for its "old South elegance."
The restaurant was also named third in the "Special Occasions" category: "You'd never guess that in this 19th-century mansion — with porch lanterns and paintings of Ulysses S. Grant — lie such whimsies as banana mousse with olive-oil powder," the magazine noted.
