Walking On The Stars

WALKING on the stars is a phrase I heard recently. Today, yesterday and the day before that came to me because I have not walked a lot and then I walked 20 large steps on Monday and then Tuesday I walked 25 steps and then Wednesday I walked 30 steps and today I will walk at least 40 steps. Oh how wonderful and great I felt it was happening.

I felt this way when I started to ballroom dance way back in 1977 and then I progressed to competition 2 years later and I won my first large trophies all 5 of them. I framed them and put them on new shelves I had built for them for kitchen shelves to show them off.

Then a total of 58 appeared on other shelves and walls and oh how I loved them all day walking by looking at all of them. I earned them by taking lessons in the evening and I felt so young and smart and accomplished.

Then the years passed on and I and I started again and I put on the frilly and gorgeous dresses and I competed in shows and felt young again and once again I felt earned a few more trophies and people came in the kitchen and whose are these they said. I said "mine"?

Then a few days again I started again and here I am counting the blocks in the kitchen and 4th day popped up and I put on one of another dress and I am young again.I had fallen when I came to live here and I stopped for about 20 months and now I am straight and tall and dance here I am. A friend made me a glass painting and it turned into 4 and I carried them carefully when we moved and I carried them holding them next to me so it was safe because it was made with love and had 4 ladies ballroom dancing and are hanging in their new home here and they were with hung with care with special nails. Their names are Antonio and Alexia and they live in California and they are my special dancing friends.
