Authorities said that when the crash occurred, Segreti was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Impala down Mattie Moore Court at about 6 p.m. on June 28 and was attempting to make a left turn onto Shirley Gate Road. When she entered the intersection, authorities said she struck the 2009 GMC Sierra pickup truck that Blevins was driving. The pickup became airborne and collided with a streetlight.

Neither speed nor alcohol appears to be contributing factors of the crash, police said.
