Yun Murder Investigation: Police Seek Help
Fairfax Station man found dead on Oct. 7; reward raised to $21,000
According to a press release sent out by the Fairfax County Police Department today, "Homicide detectives will be in the 4300 block of Americana Drive passing out flyers this evening, from approximately 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., continuing their investigation of the murder of Yong S. Yun. ... Detectives will be seeking information from anyone who may have been in the area at the time the vehicle was parked there."
Yun's wife found him dead in his home in Fairfax Station on Oct. 7 around 4 p.m. Police at the time said they had no leads. Nothing was stolen from the house, except Yun's 2002 gold Lexus SUV. The car was recovered four days later on Americana Drive in Annandale.Â
Yun lived in a million-dollar mansion on Ladues End Court, near the Fairfax County Parkway. He was a Korean-American who owned two car washes in Georgia and one in Chantilly. Â

As NBC Washington's John Schriffen reported on Wednesday, the FCPD's $1000 reward for information on the case has been multiplied by a $20,000 private donation.Â
