Bailey's Crossroads Assault and Robbery: Police Seek Suspect

Fairfax County Police are on the lookout for a suspect in an assault and robbery late Wednesday that landed the victim in the hospital.

The robbery took place at Seminary Road and South George Mason Drive Wednesday at about 11:47 p.m., police said.

The victim was walking and was approached by a man, according to police. The suspect assaulted the victim, took property and fled, according to FCPD.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and incurred non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was described as black, in his 20s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 180 to 200 pounds, and wearing a brown T-shirt and blue jeans.
