Northern Virginia Family Service seeks foster families for siblings and teens

The Foster Care programs of Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) are seeking foster parents who are interested in caring for:
- Siblings (two or more children)
- Teens
Northern Virginia Family Service provides strong and caring support to its foster families. The program is designed to help families get the most out of their foster and respite care experience. To help meet everyone’s needs, NVFS staff provide:
- Intensive training, certification and continuing education opportunities
- Careful child/parent matching
- Ongoing support and 24-hour help from professional social workers
- Help locating support services for the children and youth in our program
- Family activities and support groups
- Parents Only section of the website providing training and resources
The next training sessions are on September 12, 19 and 26 in Oakton, Virginia.
