Fire At Falls Green Apartments Yields No Injuries In Falls Church

The Arlington County Fire Department says the underground electrical vault fire was put out.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — An electrical vault fireprompted an emergency response at a Falls Church apartment complex Thursday, according to the Arlington County Fire Department. There were no injuries.

Units were on scene of Falls Green Apartments at 505 Roosevelt Boulevard. According to the fire department, the fire was contained as Washington Gas and Dominion Energy arrived on scene. The apartment building near the fire was evacuated, and residents were asked to follow local officials' direction. As of 6:16 p.m., the fire department said the fire was out.

Roosevelt Boulevard is open, and all emergency response vehicles were gone as of 6:30 p.m. Fairfax County Fire and Rescue assisted with the response.
