The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Community Chorus in association with the East Avenue Ensemble of Chevy Chase present “Durufle and Copland: A Concert of Contrasts.” The one-time only performance will feature selections from Durufle’s glorious Requiem as well as from Copland’s Old American Songs including such traditional favorites as At The River, Long Time Ago, Simple Gifts and Zion’s Walls. The event is free of charge and parking is free as well. Donations are welcome to support NIH charities.
