Classes for 2's, 3's, and 4's are offered for mornings and all day. Good Beginnings, a class for children and their caretaker, is offered for children 1.5 years - 2.5 years. Children learn and flourish as they wonder and learn, building a foundation to ensure their success through use of the Creative Curriculum, vetted by the Virginia Department of education. McLean Community Center

From now through July 31, The McLean Community Center (MCC) and McLean Project for the Arts (MPA) are accepting applications for McLean Artfest 2026, the first year the beloved juried fine arts festival will be presented by both organizations.
The festival will take place on Sunday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in McLean Central Park and will feature exceptional artists, live entertainment, interactive art activities and family-friendly programming.
Artists working in all fine art and fine craft media are encouraged to apply. Selected artists will have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work while connecting with thousands of collectors, art enthusiasts and visitors from across the Washington metropolitan region.
The application deadline is Friday, July 31.
