Fall Jubilee​​, Clifton Day, HillFest, Haunts: DC, NoVA Weekend Events

This weekend's calendar is packed with events such as Heritage India Festival​, fall festivals, haunted houses and much more.

WASHINGTON, DC — As October, it's shaping up to be a better time for outdoor events than last weekend.

While rain from Hurricane Ian's remnants lingered last weekend, the National Weather Service expects sunny weather in DC this weekend. High temperatures will be in the high 70s Friday and 60s on Saturday, Sunday and the Monday holiday.

Fall festivals will dominate the weekend. Some of the larger events include the 46th Annual Fairfax Fall Festival, 39th Annual Manassas Fall Jubilee, Clifton Day Festival in Clifton, Celebrate Purcellville, the Fall Wine Festival & Sunset Tour, 78th Annual Waterford Fair and Sterlingfest and Farm Day in Falls Church.

If you're into the thrills and chills, there are numerous haunted houses to check out. A few suggestions include Scream LoCo in Leesburg, Madhunter's Madhouse in Purcelleville, Workhouse Haunt: Nightmare Harvest in Lorton and Fields of Fear in Centreville.

Other notable events happening this weekend include Snallygaster in DC, HillFest in DC, The Heritage India Festival in Chantilly and Shocktober Haunt Party in Leesburg.
