The City of Falls Church Farmers Market is now open from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday. These extended summer hours will remain in effect through December. More than 45 vendors offer locally grown fruits and vegetables, cheeses, meats, baked goods, plants, wine, and much more.

The Chef Series, an event unique to the Falls Church Farmers Market, is also back this summer. The Chef Series brings local Washington, D.C., area restaurants into the Market to develop recipes using local, seasonal food showcasing the bounty of the Mid-Atlantic region. The Series highlights the importance of eating local seasonal food for the health of our environment, economy, and ourselves.

This Saturday, the Market welcomes Chef Nathan Lyon, Emmy-nominated TV host and author. Free demonstrations and tastings start at 9 a.m.
