Falls Church Teen Stabbed 100 Times, MS-13 Members Charged

Five MS-13 gang members are charged with killing one of their own members, a 16-year-old from Falls Church.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—Five MS-13 members have been arrested and charged in the killing of a Falls Church teen, according to police in Prince George's County, Md.

Police believe Jacson Pineda-Chicas, 16, of Falls Church, was killed on March 8 in Prince George's County. Pineda-Chicas and the five suspects are members of a Fairfax County MS-13 clique and were meeting at the clique leader's home in the 7000 block of Varnum Street in Landover Hills. Police say there was a "confrontation during which the 16 year old was attacked and killed."

WTOP reported that the teen was stabbed 100 times. The suspects allegedly left his body in Stafford County, Va. and burned it. A Stafford County cheriff’s deputy located the teen’s body in a remote area. After investigations, the killing was traced back to Prince George's County.

Police arrested Jose Ordonez-Zometa, 29, of Landover Hills, Md., who is believed to be the clique leader. Others arrested included Jonathan Castillo-Rivera, 20, of Annandale, Kevin Rodriguez-Flores, 18, of no fixed address, Christian Martinez-Ramirez, 16, of Falls Church and Jose Hernandez-Garcia, 25, of no fixed address. All are charged as adults with first degree murder and other related charges.

Police say the motive for the killing is under investigation. The victim's mother told NBC Washington the gang forced her son to join in El Salvador and could not avoid the gang in the U.S. He was reportedly trying to find a way out of MS-13 after being accused of talking to law enforcement. Gang members threatened his family, his mother said.
