Fatal Shooting In Bailey's Crossroads Leads To Arrest Warrant
Arrest warrants have been issued for a suspect who allegedly shot a man in an apartment in Bailey's Crossroads.

BAILEY'S CROSSROADS, VA — Arrest warrants have been issued in a fatal shooting at a Bailey's Crossroads apartment complex Sunday, according to Fairfax County Police.
The shooting happened in the 5500 block of Seminary Road, the location of Skyline Towers Apartments. According to police, three men had fled from an apartment where a man was found with fatal upper body gunshot wounds. The shooting prompted police to recommend residents shelter in place for approximately 30 minutes.

Ahmed Hemoh, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene by fire and rescue personnel. Detectives are investigating what led to the shooting but do not believe it was random.
According to police, detectives identified Phil Asare Darkwah, 28, as the suspect who allegedly shot Hemoh. On Monday, detectives obtained warrants for charges of second degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
