Lovettsville's Eighth Annual Christkindlmarkt

Join St. Nick and Krampus as they make their way to Lovettsville on December 5th and 6th!

Come to the Loudoun Valley German Society’s annual traditional European Christmas market in the German Settlement of Lovettsville on Saturday and Sunday, December 5th and 6th, 2015 to enjoy one of the nationally acclaimed “top 10 German Christmas markets” in the United States. The market features over 25 local artists and vendors supplying you that perfect holiday gift, six 2-hour sets of live German/Austrian/Celtic Christmas music, traditional Christkindlmarkt foods and spirits, free children’s activities provided by the German language students from Woodgrove and Harmony Middle Schools, fresh Christmas trees and greenery, and visits by the German traditionally attired St. Nicholas of Myra and his cranky Alpine sprite cohort Krampus. Become part of this tradition which provides you a nostalgic and stress-free environment to check off your holiday shopping list as well as supports Lovettsville’s unique 250+ years of German heritage. The market is located at the Lovettsville Game Protective Association Hall located at 16 South Berlin Turnpike. The hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and the admission of $3 for 13+ years of age is good for both days of the market. Admission defrays the hall rental, musician fees, and advertising costs and any residual funds are used to promote local youth and cultural nonprofit programs.
