LWVFC Hosts Program on Envisioning Falls Church's Future

Sunday, November, 16 - 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. Falls Church Community Center - 223 Little Falls Street

League of Women Voters Falls Church will host a program on Sunday, November 16 from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. at the Falls Church Community Center at 223 Little Falls Street to continue our community’s discussion of the proposed uses for the new land Falls Church City acquired in the sale of the City’s water system to Fairfax County.

The program will begin by briefly reviewing ideas and the timeline for development of the land that have been developed by the City’s outside consultant, RTKL Associates, and the Urban Land Institute of Washington’s Technical Assistance Panel.

Program attendees will then break up into small groups for facilitated discussion exploring citizen visions for this resource and our City going forward. Finally, the small groups will report the results of their work to the group as a whole. The League will summarize the ideas generated during this visioning program and share the output from this program with City leadership and management.
