Marshall Band Third in Competition

The George C. Marshall High School Marching Statesmen persevered through the cold to take third place in the Carolina Class on Saturday night, October 4, in the Battle on the Blue Ridge competition at Millbrook High School in Winchester, with their innovative program entitled ”i_Dependence.”  The Marching Statesmen were narrowly edged out of first place (by less than one point) in the IV Open Group in the USBands Northern Virginia Platinum Regional competition at Herndon High School on Saturday, September 27.  A video of the performance can be seen at http://youtu.be/XVDMdJmOXRU, and the show can be seen live at Marshall football games on October 10 and 17, and November 7.
